SAFEGUARD HYGIENE EXCELLENCE AND SAFETY LABEL 
BY BUREAU VERITAS

JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La, offering rooftop living at its best with stunning panoramic views and award-winning infinity edged pool has received the prestigious SafeGuard Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label by Bureau Veritas (BV), a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services.

At JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La, the health and safety of guests and colleagues is of utmost importance to the hotel. In response to the rapidly evolving events surrounding COVID-19 globally, the hotel has stepped up significantly its measures which includes mandatory temperature checks for all our valued guests at arrival; twice daily temperature checks for all colleagues; mandatory SafeEntry check-in and check-out for all guests and employees via scanning a QR code for contact tracing; increased frequency of disinfection for guestrooms and public areas particularly ‘high touch areas’; safe distancing measures implemented across the hotel; usage of personal protective equipment such as masks for staff and guests; clear Perspex screens between guests and colleagues at front desk and restaurants; contactless guest interactions in hotel, restaurant and facilities; and utilization of new technologies in sanitization such as electrostatic spraying devices and ultra-violet light technology..

Bureau Veritas’ auditors conducted a field assessment and inspected all areas of the hotel in early July, to ensure that the hotel’s implemented hygiene and safety protocols are in line with globally recognised best practices on preventive measures for a safer business restart and met the stringent requirements of the SafeGuard Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label inspection programme.
